The open PC ServerIntegration client management system (opsi) allows you to manage and maintain Windows workstations from Windows XP to Windows 8 and 2012 (32- and 64-bit).
In addition to a software and hardware inventory, opsi offers you a software distribution for installing additional applications or distributing updates and patches.
You can either package the software you want to distribute yourself, or you can use various low-cost subscription packages. For new Windows workstations you start an automated installation including the setup of the various desired software packages.
The functionality can be extended via various additional modules, e.g. a license management module for managing software licenses, a WAN module for connecting mobile workstations, or a user profile management for adapting server-stored user profiles.
